What I do

As an almost-graduate of the International Game Architecture & Design course at the NHTV University of Applied Sciences and part-time web developer, I worked on a number of games as a designer and programmer. To make a living as a student, I develop websites and web apps on a regular basis for all kinds of clients.

What drives me

Being challenged is the most important thing for me when working on a project. The reward of finally solving a complex problem is so much better than solving the same thing over and over again. Whether that problem is a game running on minimal hardware or a web app pushing the server to its limits, doesn't matter to me at all.

These are the things I do on a daily basis right now.

  • C#
  • Unity 3D
  • PHP
  • Laravel
  • Linux System Administration
  • Unreal Engine 4

Kick & Fennick Console Port

At my most recent internship, I worked on the PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Wii U ports of Kick & Fennick. Since the game was running on Unity 3D, which supports the aforementioned consoles as target platforms, most of my work consisted of platform tailoring. Amongst other tasks I worked on input handling, performance optimisation, achievements and fixing bugs.

Cube IT Kassa — In development

I'm currently in charge of developing a new point of sale system for a computer store. Besides handling sales and receipts it can also generate invoices, manage repairs, import products and update prices from suppliers and much more. It is currently developed by myself in PHP and the Laravel Framework.
